I like the L88 hood also, not correct but adds style. 3963512 used mid year '69 through '71 "transition" block on both 427 and 454, 2 and 4 bolt mains. Suffix MAY indicate a Tonawanda replacement of some kind, casting date on rear bellhousing flange. I did find one Mercury Marine 427 reconfigured for street use in my old truck. Nice Vette regardless! A lot happens in 54 years especially during the racing, then cloning era.🤔
