I personally know of one other that was totaled in the mid-'80's and as far as I know still sits in a barn in South Central Texas untouched. Have not been in contact with the family in many years, but now may need to make a short trip to see if the car is still there. There son died in the accident, no fault of his, but a drunk driver.

Aaron Anderson ...A friend of mine bought a fifteen year old motorcycle (HD) with 60 miles on it! The original owner bought it but was arrested for DUI before he took delivery. (Another person rode it home from the dealer when it came in). The original purchaser got 90 days in jail but died before he got out. Then the bike just sat in a garage where there was chickens. I saw it when my friend brought it home. It was covered in chicken shit, straw and the chickens ate away most of the seat. Two days later it was shiny and looked brand new. I helped my friend change the original oil, it flowed out just like silicon caulking.

Way back in 1979, my best friend (who was only 17 at the time) traded a bunch of junk for a really nice Frost Green 1969 Nova SS from his neighbor. Car was a 350, 4 speed, 12 bolt with factory 4.10 gears. Radio delete and rear window roll down delete (which we thought at the time was fake). Car had what we thought were factory Chevy van bucket seats and rubber mat flooring. It had SS emblems on exterior and interior, but it was super basic. We took the back seat out for some odd reason and found a build sheet in the springs. The car was special ordered "COPO" (which we didn't really know what that was back then) with "special high performance" 350 small block and all of the items that I mentioned above. The car had 1970 Camaro SS steel wheels on it. Dont know if they were factory or if someone changed the factory wheels. Don't know/ remember the HP of the engine, but, that car with bias ply tires would pull the drivers side front tire an inch off of the ground when he raced guys in Chattanooga TN. way back then. Wonder what ever happened to that car...
