1969 Corvette auction! How much will it go for?

If the rest is good this will be restored to original state( and if original L-36 is found) its a 100K car at future auction!!

The Vin will say if it was a bbc or not. Never assume a hood, spedo, interior plat, etc makes it one. But it probably was one.. That changes the value big time if someone replaced all that in a 350 car. The fact it will never have a matching motor makes it not as pricey... 5800 was decent price but not phenomenal.

You cannot tell the size of the motor from the VIN. The third digit of the VIN was for the engine and it is always a "4" for a V8. Doesn't say if it is big block or a small block. There are other things that determine it, all of which can be changed. I believe it was a big block car originally but it would take some investigation to know for sure. With the way the prices are going up on everything, I think that was a pretty good deal. Although who knows what the future holds, at some point everything will have to take a financial nose dive.

@@C3Stingray Engine Code is J for 350ci, 195hp; T for 350ci, 250hp; Z for 454ci, 270hp for our 72 so I'm unsure about 69. I didn't know they were different than our 72 or 73 I also have a 75 but it wasn't offered a bbc. Thanks.

@@DiscoGreen They didn't start the letter until 72. 68-71 just had a "4" for V8. It would have been nice if they had did that from the beginning. I have a 75, it is a J.
