To the builder: Congratulations on such a work of art. The sound and ride must be incredible. FORD should take note to never forget why people love the original Mustang Fastback.

There's just something special about the Ford 427. Soon as I seen 427 I had to click.

This is without a doubt one of the finest Mustang build's that I have ever seen. My first Mustang was in 1969 fastback with a 302 and backed up with a four-speed. That was my sophomore year in high school 1976. I have been fortunate enough to have owned a 1969 GT500 and dumb enough to sell it long ago. I now have a 2013 Shelby GT350 with a widebody kit and over 700 hp built by Shelby American. Next to it is my 2018 Shelby GT350R chassis number 54. And most recently I purchased my newest addition to my garage. A 2020 GT500 with the track pack. I will never sell these cars. I am a equal opportunity car guy. I also have a 1965 Corvette that I helped my friend build back in high school. A convertible with a 327 and 350 hp. I also have a few Mopar's. They are like my children. Thanks for sharing your build.

I say this with all sincerely, this is one of the most amazing builds I've ever seen. I am amazed by the detail and quality of the work! I don't like the cost is no issue big dollar builds. To know that one person put his heart and soul into this is mind boggling. Thank you for sharing, I will watch and admire many more times.

That is without a doubt the best body-style of car from that era. What a spectacular build!

I had one, automotive refinishing was my profession, so cars like it and my '70 Challenger were easy to find and customize. A mechanic friend wouldn't leave me alone, he wanted that car, so knowing it would go to a good home, I gave in and finally sold it to him. He put a built 427 in it, gutted the interior, put in a racing seat and roll cage, cut out the wheel wells and tubbed it, etc., and took it to the strip. I don't think I ever forgave him 😢

427? Must be a 351 Cleveland-based stroker because I know that isn’t an FE big block. Great work on the metal fab and detail! It’s a great looking Mustang 👍🏻
@larrywarren1049Ай бұрын
It would be based on the 351w and stroked or a crate roushe 427

Looks amazing! Great job! Just a question tho, personally I usually find enough play in the door hinges and fenders to get great gaps have you ever tried that? I've only had to do what you did once so I know it doesn't always work but man it does a lot more than I thought. Anyway I hope you really enjoy it or the pile of cash!

Such a shame. A restoration like this costs as much as a major surgery...or more, effectively putting this out of reach for the vast majority especially those who'd appreciate it most. Not just some geezer who'll lift the blanket off twice a year.

Jegs? I hope they didn’t ship you a cracked block and try to convince you to take it up with Chevrolet performance too. (Engine was never installed, found crack before installation on engine stand, replacement engine was sent after 2nd customer care guy was involved) losses? 2 1/2 days of work receiving, sending, receiving engines, what ever it took to build pallet, and several hours on the phone with at least 5 different people between two companies dealing with conflicting explanations on how this return policy works. Oh and second engine had fallen in its pallet too during shipping (not jegs fault, that was Chevrolet!) big money low quality.
