1969 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 in Grabber Yellow & Engine Sound on My Car Story with Lou Costabile

Back when I was in college, one of my classmates had bought a brand new 69 GT500. I remember him bringing it the college's auto shop, with him and his friends working on it for a couple of weeks straight. After two weeks of watching him and his friends working diligently on the it, my curiosity finally got the best of me, and I went over and ask them what they were doing all that time. My classmate's reply to me was that he and his friends were trying to get the engine to idle smooth, and I then looked a the running engine, then I went to the back of the car. After a few seconds of listening, I walked back up to him, and said " This thing sounds sweet!" With a puzzled look on his face, I explained to him about his car having a factory performance camshaft, and it's supposed to idle rough.

Sleek Mustang, n that gorgeous yellow is definitely a grabber! That old fuel injector's a pretty neat piece! Great looking engine. Super sound and a smokin rev... loved it!! Very hot car! Love the vid n story, always enjoy the fun stuff in the back, way cool to see! Thank you!
