I would take that trans am. I love the cougar but not this year. I don't like that sloping body line at all. '67 and '68 were the good cougars to me, even though larger engine options were available in '69, I just don't like the looks of it. They ruined it's original style. If it were one of those earlier years, I'd pick it over the trans am, I think. If it were a camaro of the same year, man. I'd have to think long and hard though probably.

Great car! Even a 4 speed with proper gearing. You made the wrong choice...as a die hard Injun man, I always go RA IV. But change it to a Camaro or Chevelle and I will take the Cougar.
