Despite being smashed hard by the Great depression, the years between the Wars for Germany were quite beautiful. Prussian traditions were upheld and there was pride for the Fatherland. Today's NATO affiliated Bundeswehr is nowhere close to this.

The name of the organisation the people were part of is literally Stahlhelm (steel helmet). The Stahlhelm was the paramilitary wing of a pro-monarchist party in the weimar republic mainly consisting of ex-soldiers from the german imperial army. ^^

Goose step was invented by a Prussian general, who served Frederick the great. The idea was to keep the lines intact while marching towards the enemy. It fell out of use when rifles replaced muskets.
