I cannot thank you two enough! I finally got a “bloom” to work thanks to you. I had told myself this quart of paint and that’s it, it’s not gonna happen, and I’ve already spent so much money and time trying to get it to work. If it wasn’t for your recipes and walking thru mixing it wouldn’t have happened!!!! Still needs some fine tuning, but I got lacing, cells and a piece I like. My husband and son now see why I tried so long and got so frustrated when I was so close, yet so so far, and didn’t know what to do to fix it!! Thank you again, you two are wonderful!!

This is an amazing EDUCATIONAL video! Thank you for doing it! I have been pouring for 1 1/2 years, and watched a zillion videos; artists are not usually great about sharing the details of their mixtures. This will help me so much; hopefully I can do a successful bloom :) . One thing I had to GOOGLE - I didn't realize milliliters are the same as grams; I always thought mls were ONLY a liquid measurement. Thanks for sharing your secrets with us!!!!

Please clarify what each of the 1st 2 pouring mediums can be used for...You have a GLUE ALL pouring medium that only has GLUE AND WATER.....then your choice of paint added to this mixture to create your paint...... The FLOETROL pouring medium has paint included in its mixture so is this a pouring medium ? Then you mentioned your base paint mixture... not clear on what you are saying on how to create your base paint..... When are we using the GLUE ALL PAINTS.?.....When are we using the FLOETROL PAINTS? Just a suggestion, when you list your recipes, if you were to have black text on a white background, it would be easier for folks to take a camera shot then send it to their email for printing without using so much of their color ink or, heaven forbid, copying by hand. Hi Kathleen. Am using bloom recipe (paints/pigments with RO 3x and Vivid Enamel). My base is straight out of the can ColorPlace White Satin and activator just paint and floetrol as recommended. I get cells and blooms but colors dry different levels as if my base is too thick. Tried watering down, got crazing. Tried Jo Sonja thinning, got cracks. Suggestion?

Jovi your consistancy is not matching up and the creations are drying to fast or you left to much paint on the canvas

So Kathleen, if I have this correct, you use the WalMart Color Place paint as the base or cushion, the pain or pigment colors use the rustoleum/Vivid mix, then CA floetrol/paint on top. Is this correct?

Thanks so much for the video! So for your drizzle/swipe/wreck/spin paintings, you use the glue and water PM and plain house paint on the canvas as your base? I don’t use pigments, just paint. 😁

Mona unfortunately you need Floetrol 🥰
