1970 BMW R50/5 Bing Slide Carb - accelerator pump assembly

A break down of the accelerator pump assembly to show the internal components. I couldn’t find anything on these parts when I researched, so thought I would share. There is a tiny sealing disc that I have come to understand was not working correctly. Hope this helps.
May not have all my terminology correct. These are new to me, so feel free to add corrections in comments if they may help others.

Nice video. Could you let us know what issue you were having? Was it an acceleration problem, such as... when you would give it gas, would it bog down somewhat before it took off?

Hi! I’ve got a question. The carb on my r60/5 just ejected the black plunger thing to get fuel in the reservoir and the bits went flying. I’ve got the black tipped rod and spring but sticking it back in, it doesn’t stay in place and wants to pop up again. Any idea what this could be? Kinda regard, Tomas

Interesting stuff! I went through these type of carbs a few years ago and thought I had seen all the bits, then just a week ago a more experienced rider told me about these pumps and had me stumped. Nothing about them in my manual at all!! It's just called "main jet holder" I'd be very interested to know the supplier and or material of that little disk!
