1970 Buick GS 455 4-speed

Can’t imagine that car with a four speed! As a kid in the mid 70’s in west Texas I had a cousin from New York came and stayed with us for the summer. He had a GS convertible with a Stage I 455. We would drop the top and cruise the main drag at night and it would annihilate any other car, Trans Ams, Z-28’s, Chevelles, it didn’t discriminate! I took it for a little drive one day while he was at work and a quick whack of the throttle would light up the rear tires. My mother caught me driving it, but didn’t want to piss him off by telling on me so she left it alone....😂

Had a great friend named Randy in the late seventies with a blue one like this same year 4 speed boy the females we used to pull and complete with this machine. Will never forget this powerful high speed nookie getter. Rest in peace brother. Dam it the memories 😊

Did you know of the 1969 Special deluxe Stage 2 COPO car? has a 455 stage II engine only 100 were made they were given to the top exec's of the company in that year !! 2 versions , 80 with a 4 speed , 20 with a 2 speed drag box ! i have the 2 speed!! bought it from a friends father ! it's not for sale !!!!!!!
