Black Beauty. Sounds like a 70 455 GS. Love it. When younger in owned a Gold and Silver 2. - 70 Buick Beauty's. . 1 was stage 1. In the 70s. A lot if hotroding at 150. They are called the hemi killer - stump puller - ultimate sleeper. Incredible !!! Very lucky to be Alive... I was Flying like the wind........ . lol with yours. . --- Black Beauty......

Glad I was raised in A Buick family! Attended the nats. in bowling green ky. Several times. My mom has a 71, lime mist convertible 350 show car, has placed as high as runner up at the nats. my dad has a 1970, GS, darker green, drag car. Black vinyl top. He hasn’t raced it in a few yrs. But it made the cover of a cpl magazines. And set several Nmca national records at the time. I believe his fastest time was Mid to lower 9’s. In the qtr. and this was mid to late 90’s. We still have the car. I know it’s a humble brag , but my dads still doing it at 7o+ , yrs old. 😂The only reason he ain’t racing the Buick, is because now he’s racing a. 1970 nova, with way over 500 c.I.,s with a ton of nitrous in extreme street, And no, for the curious, he didn’t win the lottery, he started a trucking co. And has worked his ass off for the last 47 yrs.

I am actually missing a Buick GS Stage 1 from my collection because all the ones out there don't do it for me. Recently saw the only 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W30 road going in Australia & now I have gotten to know the owner & hopefully soon I get to go for a spin in it.
