1970 Chevelle Malibu Four Door Sedan Grn TVil091512

Nicely equipped, and low mileage! According to the dealer's name on the deck lid, the car is originally from South Carolina. Nicely equipped with the 350 c.i. engine, A/C, power steering and brakes. You don't often see the four door sedans preserved as this one is..usually it's the hardtops that are slated for preservation.

In 1978 I traded my Honda 400-4 SS motorcycle for a 1970 Chevelle. Mine was 4 door sedan, green with a brown/tan vinyl roof and had a 307. I wish I still had it. It was my first car and I loved it!

Really nice. I had a 2 door hardtop. Really loved it - but the brakes were so prone to fading that i learned pretty quickly to drive pretty conservatively in it.

That's a good point...brakes were just getting some of the attention by manufacturers that they desperately needed. Turboglide had GR for grade retarder to help combat fade, but lots of young drivers took off from stoplights in that mode. It was never designed for that, hence there were transmission failures. So glad you showed this car Jack! It reminded me to tell you Saturday afternoon turning out of the Walmart parking lot onto a highway was a '67 Malibu 4 DR. this color hard top and it looked brand new! Behind the driver seat and passenger seat were 2 little old ladies. When I say brand new looking I mean brand new I almost got in a accident starring.

I agree. I know I posted a comment earlier, a few years ago. But I wanted to comment again. You don't see many Chevelle 4 door sedans these days. You see more 2 doors, convertibles and Malibu SS. :)
