Look what a horrible thing has happened to the Malibu now. The new Malibu is not worthy of its own name tag. It is nothing but a front wheel drive, four cylinder with optional tiny V6 grandma-mobile. It is a Corsica lying to you. Then again, look the the ridiculous front wheel drive Impala. That Lumina in drag does not deserve the name tag of, "Impala." I have heard there may be a new Chevelle in the works. I am terrified it will be another new Chevrolet piece of junk with a four cylinder, front wheel drive, automatic anemia-mobile more like a Chevrolet Sprint than what a Chevelle should be. Why are car companies doing this to old famous names? The new Dart is nothing but a Dodge Colt. Dart was not really a muscle car but it did have a following. I have heard there is an anemic four cylinder Silverado now. No wonder so many car companies went bankrupt and begged for a bailout from their respective governments.

That early commercial is DOPE... LowPowaBabeh... kinda suitable for my daughter since she was traumatized about being thrown to the front from the backseat when my husband MoPowa car came to a full stop... Great video... congrats on the collab... keep up the good work...

Fantastic video. For my first car in 1989, my dad talked me out of a 1966 Chevelle SS 396 cause he didn't want me to die. Before slagging my dad for protecting his son, he helped me buy a 1982 Toyota Celica Supra which made me a Supra fanatic. My dream car is still that 66 Chevelle SS 396 L78, and a 1993 Supra 2JZ-GTE, a car I was going to buy new, but got married instead, is #2 on the bucket list

My dad had a 1970 Chevelle that he bought from a police impound lot. It didn't have the 454, it had the 350 that was stolen out of a racecar, It was Stupid fast! The engine would rev to 6k and pulled hard the full range of rpm's! It was a dark metal flake red and had black leather bucket seats and was like a new car back in the last 80s still. Sadly he traded it to a guy for a camper and it was stripped down and made into a drag car. If we had kept it in perfect shape, it would be well over a 100,000$ car today! I still remember the chime it made when the key was put in!

Amazing American engine design back then. They really knew how to extract the smallest amount of power from the largest engines.

@jaidencarvalho17614 жыл бұрын
SonnyGTA That is pretty cool that you had a 1969 Chevelle especially as your first car! If I may ask what was it like owning it and having it as a car? The 68-70 Chevelle has always been my dream car that I'd love to have someday! My other two favorites that I deeply admire are the 1968-70 Dodge Charger and 1977-78 Pontiac Trans Am and would like to know your opinion on how these two gorgeous cars compare and contrast with the Chevelle please? I don't know much about classic cars, but I'm determined to learn more about them and hear from people who have knowledge and experience with them :)!
