I know it's a bit of an odd request...I just find it very relaxing to drive an old car at night with the empty streets and watching them on the road glistening under the old orange street lights is something you just don't see anymore at least not in my country.

Fell in love with the 2nd generation from Watching Hazzard County. When I turned 23 on my birthday I bought one. This was in the early 90s. I paid 2k for it. 383 4bbl AT. I took it to a resto shop that specialized in older mustangs. The owner told me more people stopped to inquire about the Charger than the Mustangs he had on his lot. He had to put a not for sale sign on it. I'm pushing 60 now and she's in my garage. It was/is my dream car. I picked up a 69 Mach 1 for almost nothing and that will be a father/son project when he gets ready. My son will get both cars. Pass it on.

The Dodge Charger in this episode is an awesome car. I love that burnt orange color! The owner is a typical good guy that you often see behind the wheel of these cars. My first car was a 1970 R/T Dodge Charger with a 440 Magnum, auto trans, power steering, cruise control, AC, AM/FM 8 Track Stereo. It was blue with a black vinyl top, and a blue interior.

Enjoyed the video, love the car. I owned a new 1969 Charger back in 1969 and would have it still if it hadn't been t-boned by a woman who ran a red light. I'm always looking for another one out there that would take me back in time, but haven't committed to putting out the bucks for it. I like very much the way Mike described the differences from 1968 to 1970 models. I guess he could have commented on the turn signals in the hood, but not a big deal. I also owned a 1972 gun metal grey Charger SE, but the 69 will always be my dream car.

I would of got a 68-70 with the 383 4bbl, I am a cruiser it be perfect, I would love to find even a 318 or 383 2bbl and just put duels on it and drive away…. very nice car and man who owns it. ☺️ Mike how can you be contacted about a car of mine that was popular in the 70’s but seldom seen today, I would love to see it featured by you. I have what's left of a '70 Charger 500. It sat on grass for ten years before I got it, so there's nothing left of the chassis. I'm having a new chassis fabricated by a NASCAR shop so it won't be torsion bar anymore...but double wishbones in front with coil overs and a Moser Dana 60 4-link out back with coil overs. For an engine, I went all modern with a crate Hellcat Redeye and a Tranzilla 6-speed manual. Trying to decide if I want to leave it as a Charger or build it into a Daytona. The Daytona is my favorite car of all time. Mike beat me to it! I really like Angrier. Just worried about overheating but I'd joined the Winged Warriors Club and some of their guys told me with bigger modern aluminum radiators that they're fine. So we'll see. Mine will be more of an AMD Charger but at least I'm saving it from the scrap yard.

I own a ''69 Charger White Hat Special with a 383 Cu" engine with a 2 BBL carburetor. I have kept it as original as possible down to the original deep dish wheel covers, original CA black plate and original dealer license plate frames. However, I think it is time for a new custodian to take over the ownership of this car. I know it's entire history as well as the original owner who I worked with. My car is F5 green, medium green metallic with an F8 green vinyl roof and F8 green interior which is mostly original. When I sympathetically restored this car back in the early 90's, it became apparent that it was too nice to modify.

I had a vision of adding the Daytona wing to my 70 RT , and painting it like a navy jet markings ! 3.23 gears were ideal. As a passenger in my brothers low miles 69 RT i witnessed it ẅith its 440 4bl it was able to pin the150 mph speedo on level freeway , it was the early 80's and normal to test your cars top speed with little risk of getting caught!! As unbelievable as it sounds it was sporting taller tires than stock hieght!in the rear 50's ,which aren't even top speed choice! 150 plus all stock, except for slotted rims an fat rubber! ,and so smooth like normal speeds! 68-70 RT Chargers were highway stars!

Nice Car, 3:23 perfect gear for this car. Will run 110 mph all day long without any problems (heat) around 130 these big "B" bodies push so much air they get light in the steering anyhow. Pseudo pistol grip on an automatic always frost my cake but that's a personal opinion.
