The finished product looks great Mike! I have to say that having two of these cars, one old school and a modern drive train version is the best of both worlds. Being able to pick between them depending on how you feel, or what you intend to do that day is a nice luxury to have in our gear head world. I love the when I'm worn out it will be too attitude! Reminds me of something I once said to a buddy when he was bragging about how minty the seats in his truck were just before he sold it after 10 years of ownership because he had always kept good seat covers on it. So I said to him you paid full price for the truck, sat on those shitty covers for 10 years, and the next guy is buying it at a substantial discount and sits on the seats you didn't get to enjoy. How does that make any sense hahaha.
@drivebigmuscle8080Күн бұрын
"So I said to him you paid full price for the truck, sat on those shitty covers for 10 years" - SO, SO, True! I honestly don't understand it. People spend so much time, effort and money to NOT ENJOY what they've created - makes no sense. As for having the carb'd car and the modern one - they are so drastically different, but each wonderful in their own way. I've got a video on the Charger coming next week we're we'll dive into the '68 a bit more. And appreciate the watch and the comment, thank you!

I don't know how many people caught the significance of the keyed ignition, but it said everything about the build and the builder. It says everything about the attention to detail and the shared vision. Speaking of details - love the "FAFO" sticker. Love this. I’m in the middle of doing the same with my 67 Belvedere. Kept the original paint but did build it nice interior (original restored interior) and new vinyl top window seals. Used a Borgeson box on mine but same upgrades as your Daytona, otherwise. Mine is e85 pullied hellcat. Nearly there, catch you on the road or at some cruises and shows or events out here in California if all goes well. Thanks for sharing this awesome, motivational beast!

Mike's gone bought not built 😂 All good, different strokes for different folks. For me, building and working on my cars is my therapy for my sanity. Driving is fun and cool, but if I can't engineer and tweak, it's meaningless to me as a hobby. I'm glad Mike is so happy with his refresh.
