1970 Dodge Coronet 440 Holiday Cruise!

I took my 1970 Dodge Coronet 440 out for a Thanksgiving weekend cruise. But first, I did a few quick adjustments and some maintenance, and walked around it to show you all a survivor, nearly stock and unmolsted Coronet. I am also prepping the car for Hot Rod Power Tour - West which is middle of next month. Can't wait to go on a road trip!

Thank you! I hope so too. I’ll be trailering the coronet down with my 4x4 ram so not super worried about the weather unless it’s just piled up with snow. It will be a fun little vacation with my son.

Cool Coronet! Perfect daily. Not everything has to be a Superbee or RT. Love how the rallye wheels look without the trim rings. Personally all I would probably do to it is bypass the amp gauge tho.

Well it should handle 500 miles easily. Maybe oil, antifreeze, cap, rotor, and points...hose clamps and zip ties...maybe plugs if you have any concerns re: the fuel mixture. If you could swap that 2.76 rear end, you could get another good boost in performance. Posi would be nice as well.

Thank you, that’s pretty much the list I’ve got in my mind also. I actually like the highway gears in the car. While gearing it down would no doubt boost performance it would take a lot of the fun out of cruising it at 60 plus down the back roads or on the freeway. It runs down the highway so nice that I don’t really want to lose that.
