Roadtrip! Picking Up Two Classic Mopars! 580 Mile Round Trip!

My son Finley and I took an epic Saturday road trip to save one mopar from the wrecking yard and to buy one for parts for Llama Barn Valiant. In total we drove 580 miles. We left home at 5:55am and returned home at 10:30pm. It was an incredible day with friends, exploring Wildcat Auto Wrecking, and driving all over northern Oregon and Southern Washington.

What a fun road trip. Great for some dad/son time. Glad you're teaching him Mopar appreciation. I think I would keep the Valiant for future Llama Barn needs. I'd you're using a car it will get bumped, worn and generally deteriorate. I think I would find a dry spot to store the signet and save it for future calamities. Take what you need now and save the rest for later. If you have little storage, cut it up by panel and store it flat. In the years to come you will be glad to have the pieces.

Cool truck it looks ridiculous with the car fender mount mirrors though but the grey d100 dodge truck its not a main 74 or 72+73 because the dash changed to the round style that is in the grey one,i myself use to have a 74 two tone light on top and dark on bottom mint green d100 club cab short bed flatbed with red metal frame and round corner caps lol also a 318 2bbl truck my truck in highschool

The street rod gasser car reminds me of my buddy's rat rod a 1950 flat black primer dodge wayfarer with a 76 0.30 360 and Holley 4bbl carb and 727 torqflite automatic transmission with a crane Energizer Cam kit

The wheels on the Cordoba are Vector VN47's. The re-pops are "Special Edition" 50th anniversary, on the inside they are cast with 01GLDOH code on them. Not available in anything but 15" x 7"-8.5"; They are made in China now, the vintage ones are slightly different visually- the lip has a slight bevel/divot, whereas the Chinese ones are smooth. I have a vintage set & a new set, new set on my '76 Valiant sedan sleeper & the old set (with 15" x 10" rears, now not available apparently) for my '69 Dart Swinger (BB transplant from the '70's)
