True, true classic. I can also remember the Crayford soft top Cortina.

We had a "H" reg Gold 1600E in the 70's with rostyle wheels, loved that car to bits but sadly I was constantly doing bits of rust then filling with good old Plastic Padding 😂😂

When I was a kid a guy on our estate had one , at holiday time it got roof racked and loaded up along with 4 kids on the back seat and to finish it off a trailer with camping gear, it kept that car for years.

Is it a genuine savage ?????? Badges dont look it ,

Also only one tail pipe whereas Original Savages had two. Looks like an "E" to me with a V6 put in it ???????

Yes genuine and real Savage only had 1 exhaust, both banks merge into one at the front section Some cars were modified by owners to have 2 but then thats actually not original Thats the issue with these hand build and very rare cars. Often people don't actually know how to identify them

@@craigmoffat8453 Yes Believe you mate, not being disrespectful at all, An old boy had one nr me for years , & I felt his was an original Uren model, his had twin Pipes & different tiger badges on the boot lid , ??? So I dont know

Yeh a few got twin exhaust after they left his workshop but originally should only have one and very small diameter compared to what would be expected. Not many were built to the same spec, most surviving cars are actually completely different spec form each other
