I have a friend who had a SS 396 '70 Nova from the factory. It had the 350 hp option from the factory. It was a screamer in 1970, right from the assembly line. He blew the 396 and put in a 427! That car was legendary in our small town. He is now deceased and was a certified GM mechanic.

I think that if you restore a car so much it can diminish it. Not saying that its not nice, but it kind of ruins the fact that it is so restored that it is an actual 70 nova. I like to see all the stuff in the car that was in it when it came off of the factory not all of the new bs...
