Once again, no disappointment and totally inspired. Makes me very happy to see the effort to do the job correctly. Thank you for sharing Rick.

Great video wish it was a year or so earlier but helped me a ton. If possible can you show more of how you fit the new panels that would be very much appreciated the tricks and things to look for that someone with your trade knowledge has will be invaluable to us diy guys. Thanks again looking forward to this series 🍻

I will try to do my best to show some of the details, its balancing act as the more detailed I get the less support and worse the video usually does. Your welcome and thanks a lot for the feedback.

Is this a SS or does it have sentimental value to the customer? Just curious given the amount of money he's putting into it. Thanks for posting. Excelent work as usual.
@carthageclassiccarsАй бұрын
Honestly, it really is neither for the most part. The owner wants a Nova built a certain way to enjoy and it will not be close to stock. So not an SS or anything like that just a plain jane Nova about to be a pretty killer ride when complete.

Bo good to see a video about $$$ the cost of doing it right and lasting 50 years compared to cost of patching and good paint job that lasts 10 years

Great information as always Rick. Love watching you save another Duece. Have some thoughts but will share privately. Thanks for the video.... every one that shows up is like finding another unopened Christmas present... sheer delight!

Yes, lucky the parts for the GM cars are large pieces. The last one I used turned out nice looking so hopefully this one is similar.

Another great video and content. Looking forward to seeing more. One suggestion, for safety you might want to put a guard on your grinder. Have seen others that had theirs fly off. Just a thought. Cheers.
@carthageclassiccarsАй бұрын
you are 100% right on the safety tip and I am sure I will eventually learn the hard way on that. I rotate the guard on and off every now and them. Its me being lazy and not wanting to work around it and I am wrong for that thinking.

Thanks for your reply. Hubby and I are enjoying your videos and learning a lot. Your work and teaching are awesome. Thanks for sharing. From a couple new fans in Canada. 🇨🇦🙂

Someone at KZbin doesn't like your channel Rick... Again I never got the notification for this video. AND I even clicked notify on the premier when it showed earlier on my home page. But it never did and even not showing on my normal notifications list. I do have it set for all notifications as I always have. Not sure why KZbin is doing this to you?
@jeffallen3382Ай бұрын
Ps... you might want to ask other viewers if they are seeing this as well?
@carthageclassiccarsАй бұрын
I don't know Jeff, have you checked your Social tab in some emails i think the notification are sent there. I don't ever try to sign up for notifications so I am not exactly sure what might be missing. I am glad you did get to see it better late then never if nothing else. Maybe someone else will see this and have some insight
@jeffallen3382Ай бұрын
@@carthageclassiccars yeah I don't know either sir. It's not in my emails. I have seen this issue with some of the firearm channels I follow, which knowing how anti gun KZbin is I can understand. But auto body work??? That's an odd one!

Can't live chat for some reason, but just saying hello.. I'd like to see that garage you're building. I'm sure other guys would also.. let's see it Rick ! Lol😂
@carthageclassiccarsАй бұрын
Sorry you didn't get to chat with us. I will say you will see in the next two videos what state the garage is currently as I was out there with this car and the Cuda I am building blasting. Its been waiting on others at this point which makes things so much harder. I will try and maybe give an update hopefully sooner then later. I like things to be what envisioned in my head before I unveil it.
@jimdrechsel3611Ай бұрын
When you transport what’s left to be blasted you must a really strong jig so it doesn’t the remaining shape doesn’t twist or distort. Great stuff Rick.
@carthageclassiccarsАй бұрын
Actually that is a great point I already got most of the next video edited on the Cuda blasting that will come out and I show it being transported to the blast site. Thats a great point that I will mention, thank you for that!

@@randyrussell4331 Haha I wish I was tat way but you are right it is a little easier when you have done a few of the exact same car. I need to make sure I just don't get stuck in that autopilot mode and forget something.
