Seems like banger racing was much less violent and much more about actual racing back then. :)

Thanks for posting this, it was god to see. Ipswich was the track that I used to go to as a kid. I didn't start watching Stock Car Racing till the mid 70s, but a lot of the names racing on this vid were still going well when I watched. This has bought back some great memories, cheers , Rich.

This brings back some good child hood memories back in the 70's going wit my parents and brother banger racing to Prestwood my father raced mainly 1100s there but will alls remember the two big mk 10 jags flying round the track when they got going nothing could keep with them
