When this theme was in use, NBC had changed its logo from "The Snake" to the trapezoid N.

The 1959-1975 "snake" monogram designed by John J. Graham, who also designed the 1956 and 1962 NBC Peacock logos.

@@David-yw2lv True. Both the 1956 "harlequin/diamond" peacock and the 1962 "Laramie" peacock were classic, much better than any other peacock logo they attempted.
