VW seems to be in financial trouble as are so many auto companies these days! I think it's smart to go back to previous ideas, and in particular, cater to people who want to go camping at a reasonable cost, and don't intend to permanently live in their camper. Thanks! :) Jack

Well, looking at what you filmed and looking at Wikipedia, this appears to be a Type 2a made from 1967 to 1971. Clues are the small rounded rear lights, crescent shaped rear air intakes, rounded bumpers without a door step at the front and low front turn signals. Narrowed it down to five years then! 🤣
