Even years ago, these vehicles commanded a premium price. NY also had a World's Fair in 39 🌎

Very very nice! This woody is ready for any adventure. Lots of work has been done to put this woody in pristine condition. Always liked the suicide doors. Year is the year I was born ie 1939 and in 1954 my folks bought a 1940 Ford DeLuxe 2 door for my 15th birthday! Thanks Jack.

Hey, Donny Boy Blue! I always admire the work that has been put into these woodies...a test of true craftsmanship! How appropriate that you got that '40 for your 15th birthday! I bet you were thrilled! Thanks! :) Jack

This station wagon is a beauty ! Fords of the 30s and 40s are all good looking, but the ‘39 is especially dramatic.

It definitely had an upscale look, especially those teardrop style headlights! Very graceful grille too! Thanks! :) Jack

Hey, Red! Me too! They always stood out as cool cars....and of course the Beach Boys would have ensured that they weren't forgotten! More that just a stationwagon...a cultural icon! Thanks! :) Jack
