Way to close it out with a tip of the cap 🧢 to a hometown hero. Classy ❤. Great playing by the lads.

Beautiful piece of history. Sounds great. Love CME. I have been lucky enough to spend almost an entire day there. I think I played at least 50 different guitars. Everyone there is so cool and so helpful. Oh...you want to play a $50,000. Tele? No worries. Here ya go. Enjoy! You guys rock!

I had an 1980 1275 in walnut. Alas, I came upon hard times, and it now resides in Prague, Czech Republic. Recently, I picked up another: 2011 Custom Shop in Vintage Sunburst! It is to DIE for!!

Awesome job on this. This is a great example of what the best created with such a cool instrument. Enjoyed the recreation of these tunes in the hands of talented musicians. The use of both necks at the end with the pumpkins tune was just too cool. I love the connection that the band had in that moment.

Chicago Music Exchange paying tribute to one of the greatest Chicago exports, "The Smashing Pumpkins" is pretty great and caught me totally off guard. I was thinking, "You know, this sounds like Tonight Tonight, oh crap it is!"

I expect you're modest about your skill. But that was a great solo on the six string. Well done. I'd love to come see the shop someday.

I just inherited one of these from my great uncle who just passed. He got it new in 1962. Its been modified somewhat. There is a few mysterious features on it that makes me think it may have been a prototype. Hard to find information on that era. If anyone is a Gibson specialist feel free to contact me. Thanks.

@2v_5r Yes you are correct, rain song is awesome. Full disclosure...i suck at guitar. LZ has a hundred awesome songs. The other song sucks donkey phallus tho. Only one man's opinion, and an opinion that no one wants. BUT...since I have no friends and no life, I randomly comment on super old YT videos that are way out of my league in order to not feel so sad and suicidal, lonely and did I mention sad?

1st of all I suck at guitar. Nathaniel is an awesome guitar player. Cavet. He plays all the right notes, in the right order.....but there is no soul. It's like watching Cutler play quaterback. Sorry homie. If you don't like it, I understand, go buy a bus pass and go back to the British Isles where people are more polite. This is Chicago and we give two fucks about your feelings. Well, maybe they care in boys town....MAYBE. The manners there are slightly better, but not much.
