Big fan of that series of Riviera. Beautiful lines and drives like a dream. Sounds much better with the Borla. Put stock looking turn downs on it, where you can just barely see them under the rear pumper. 👍🏽

I prefer the FM 40's. I had a 72 Riv 455 with true duals. 2.5 into glass packs with 4" tips. Cops said it would rattle their windows when I drove by them.😂

i have been drove in a riviera boatail before and the model year was from 73 and it was really comfortable to sit ind and very smooth when it drives 👌

This 1971 appears to have a 1972 grille installed, which slightly threw me off. But it looks good regardless. In any case, I much prefer the new, quieter muffler installation. It's a better fit for the style of car. I would only modify those small, straight exhaust pipes sticking out past the bumper. At the very least, I'd cut them closer to the bumper and bevel-cut them to look more sporty.

I usually agree. It may depend on the type of Flowmasters. A buddy has a set in a 318 Satellite and it sounds good. Don't know which ones they are.
