1971 Chevy C10 shortbed gets a new steering column

I was going to put a new turn signal switch in this but it is easier if you don't have a tilt wheel. In looking into it I just decided to get a new steering column and just start making this truck perfect. I hope you enjoy the video. It was a bit all over the place because my go pro kept shutting off it was to hot and I forgot about this months ago. It's a CPP column made in China. I saw the white CPP logo on the bottom of this column in one of the Brothers' install videos. I totally agree it's being resold at a markup. I've given up on new columns and having a factory one rebuilt. So much aftermarket junk anymore. Best of luck with the build man! Looks great

I was worried about that. I am not going to get rid of the other steering column despite it probably being replaced as well. Thanks for the support.

@@NVSRides I absolutely hate my CPP tilt steering column with he column shifter. It has about 4" of play and wiggles up and down. How is yours working? I wish I would of spent the extra $300 and got an Ididit or flaming river column.

What length tilt steering wheel did you use 30,32,33 and what length do you recommend?

Those cutouts in the shipping box you received were: SHIPPING LABELS 🏷 Brothers received that column from their vendor, then removed those labels 🏷 before they repackaged it and sent it to you. Imagine that!!!!
