It is amazing to me to see people’s natural aptitude’s when they do and make things. I have always had mechanical aptitude meaning mechanical things just make sense in my mind, how something is assembled or how it works, repair, trouble shoot etc. When I watch you though you have an awesome mechanical aptitude but combined with a very strong artistic vision and aptitude. The way you can take a blank space and using metal build this 100% custom, perfect fitting, perfect functioning yet factory looking center counsel all from scratch in your head. Truly an excellent piece that will only look more amazing after paint. Please make sure the entire thing is heavily sound deadened mostly because of sitting on top of the subwoofer. From a fellow Canadian who just recently found your channel while laid up recovering from a surgery, Awesome job on this, super impressed with everything I have seen so far that you have Kustom Made, keep going I will be watching and learning. 👍🇨🇦

Yeah man, it's super cleeen and cool with the bead rolling and contours that match the dash and shapes of the gauge bezel too; however, ... this out of date PAULTRY subwoofer was due for an upgrade already and now it's basically built in and around the console which means when it blows it's going to need an exact replacement or left in there dead. I wish to have had a moment to discuss with the owner the importance of good bass in a large open cabin with loud exhaust and would of hoped for 2-15"s in a custom box under that back seat... oh and some LED's slapped all over, too, ok? I'm just bustin' ya chops man! Can we see it all finished, body worked and painted soon?
@MakeItKustom3 жыл бұрын
Yeah once the truck is all finished up I’d love to do a video on it. You’re right about the sub it could be bigger but the nice thing is that just the sub itself is replaceable the box can stay. Thanks for your feedback on the design I scratched a hole in my head figuring this one out lol
@THRASHMETALFUNRIFFS3 жыл бұрын
@@MakeItKustom I was being a smart alec... I don't know why, I'm always bugging Brent that his builds need some huge subs but he ain't down for that. It ain't really the style for classic cars and most would say my LED's in the grill and under the console of my truck are tacky. I'm big on music and always had an amp and subs but the 2-15's in my Sleeper FireBird in 1996 was a bit overkill but with loud exhaust you get noise cancelling frequencies that kill the bass at certain engine RPM's and these old cars would probably vibrate and rattle from everywhere too.. MY truck now just has 2-10's under the fold down back seats. The console is really amazing, I really like that bead rolling work you do like on door panels, etc. and those trim bezels around the shifters and incorporating the lid and cup holders was PERFECT!

I don't think I've ever said this about a center console, but that is badass! I have a '70 Chevy C10 pickup and a '72 K20 Suburban (the latter having serious body rust problems).
