Thanks for this rare single edit! Finally confirming that there's applause at the end of both single versions.

My single favorite song by the BEATLES is "Here Comes The Sun" because no matter what mood I'm in it cheers me up and brightens my day (or night). This version is an odd take on the song. Not sure what to make of it having heard it for the first time just now. I do dig the guitar and I respect Richie Haven's talent.

Mr. Havens gave a free performance at my old record store in the 1990s. A true gentleman. Rest in power sir.

The differences between this edited version and the long one is also in the label fonts on CBS Pitman pressings. Here on this 2:36 edit, Pitman's own typesetting was used. When they started pressing the longer version, Pitman's type was ditched on the label and Santa Maria's used instead.

@Sanchez Montebello - The longer version as on this channel shows a Pitman pressing with Santa Maria fonts. That this was predominant is an indicator of West Coast origin for the label.

Lyrics: Little darling, it’s been a long, cold, lonely winter Little darling, it seems like years since it’s been here Here comes the sun, here comes the sun And I say it’s alright Little darling, the smiles are returning to the faces Little darling, it seems like years since they been there Here comes the sun, here comes the sun And I say it’s alright Little darling, mmmm, I feel that ice is slowly melting Little darling, it seems like years since it’s been clear Ooh-oh, there goes the sun, mm mm mm mm Here comes the sun And I say it’s alright Here comes the sun, here comes the sun Here comes the sun, here comes the sun And I say it’s alright It’s alright No-oh no no no no It’s alright
