Awesome car for the price of $60K. Not a popular model, but rare for the reasons talked about in the video. If you're looking for a cool, older car in great condition, this is it. I was never a Mopar guy, but I like this one.

That is a good-looking restomod. Nice someone built up a 340 and dropped it in there too. You can definitely tell throughout its life it was pampered. Maybe original 318. I doubt a slant 6 so the motor mounts would definitely drop a 340 in well.

That car was new the 3rd year I worked in a Chrysler Plymouth dealer! BTW the scamp was not available with a 340 from the factory. You could only get a 340 in a Duster, Barracuda or Roadrunner. I always wondered why when you could get a 340 in the Dodge Dart Swinger, that the Scamp shared the body with. 318 was the only V8 available.

Reminds me of the car in the movie Dual. That guy’s car was a Valiant and even had an AM radio installed in the dash center section. He listened to talk radio driving in desert California. It might have had a six because he couldn’t outrun an old truck with a fuel tank trailer. The school bus driver told him he was crazy.

It's a great size, much smaller than most other '71 muscle cars. It's like the size of a first gen Nova. Awesome power to weight ratio. Don't need a big block with cars this size.
