It’s been so hectic, winter shut us down because it was so cold to do anything, then I had shoulder surgery and that stopped me for a few more months, just now getting back to where we can work on it, and the garage it’s in was hit by a car and now the door can’t be opened to get the car out. So it’s been a rough few months to say the least. But we will try to get part 3 done soon. I can’t wait to hear it run myself.

I'd CHANGE all the fluids and flush the radiator and cooling system before attempting to start it. They're bad about rusing in the block if sitting too long-- flush it good FIRST and put some good NO WATER coolant in it.. I've had 2 of the 70 GPs and LOVED them- both SJ-- 455, but automatic (I was trucker and got sick of freakin clutches.. !! ha IF I could find one I like- I'd love to drop 500 hp ls crate engine in it-- brand new.. or totally rework a 455.. I use to crawl under the hood and work on them in the rain with the way there was room and a hood like that-- and I could WALK across the hood with No dents at all!!! Go over a railroad track as speed and not feel a thing..

How did your project turn out with the Pontiac grand prix 1971 was once a good car.

I wasn’t able to help finish because I had to relocate for Job reasons and the owner sold it before it was finished.

Good luck, guys! I think...the 1969-1977 Grand Prixs were the coolest body styles. In 1978, the beginning of the end(of "style")In the 1990s &...beyond...horrid, especially when Pontiac decided to make an ugly, stodgy 4-door model.

So where's episode 3?!
@F18C103 жыл бұрын
I honestly don’t think it will at this point. I moved out of state for work and I haven’t even been able to do anything. The car isn’t mine and I was just helping and filming. Sorry my friend.

Bias ply tires are still made , in reproduction .

Why would *anyone* want BiasPly tires any more?

@@cardtrix1970 used in show car competitions for historic accuracy/ judging.I was only making the point because , when he took the spare out which appeared to be original - he said "nobody makes these any more".
