Thank you! This programme brought lot of memories of fall of Dacca and POW’s. My own father was in Pakistan army and was posted in Khar border. As a 11 years old we used to write letters, send gifts to POW’s. I wonder if they ever got it or not. As growing up never heard the treatment of Pakistani prisoners treatment by Indian army. Good to hear that POW’s in these camps were treated humanly. Love bbc’s documentaries. Watching from America

During their stay in Jabalpur army's custody, one expensive Rolex wrist watch was missing. Rao forman ali blamed Indian camp guards for this theft. Which the Indian sepoy who did all the cleaning job, inside the prison camp, vehemently denied. A thoroughly search followed, and lastly the " stolen " watch was found inside the bathroom. Rao Forman Ali had to apologize before the Indian sepoy.
