This is the best part of the movie. Charlie finally found a golden ticket. He ran all the way home to show it to Grandpa Joe. He was so thrilled. He could've said "Charlie finally found a golden ticket. I'm so proud of my grandson."

I swear! Charlie's biggest dream was to find one of the 5 golden tickets. A big smile crept on his face when his dream came true. I have a huge crush on Charlie and I take after him. I'm in love with this movie even though it's 21 years older than me. It was released in 1971 and I was born in 1992.

I love every detail of this scene probably 1 of the greatest movie scenes ever filmed in a kids movie. You feel the excitement for Charlie every time. I love the fact he genuinely bought the chocolate bar for uncle Joe it wasn't until he learned theres still a ticket out there that he just had to check . The fact he finds the money on the ground its all meant to be. The music score- perfect

I used to do a bunch of forward rolls everytime this part of the movie comes and besides forward rolls was the only gymnastics move I was able to do. But I'm not a real gymnast.

They're addictive. The Everlasting Gobstoppers, I mean. hmm, I want some now...yummy. :) Yeah, they just don't make 'em like they used to. ..Movies, I mean. Classic scenes. And good soundtrack to boot. Brings back warm memories.
