Great video, I was just curious why you cut the U bolts off. Don’t those just unbolt? Planning my work for similar projects and this caught my eye.

Hi Stephen. Thanks for watching and sharing the kind words. We really appreciate it. It's great question. What was cut out was us attempting to just undo them and they wouldn't budge. The rust had seized them up. Knowing that new bolts came with the kit, it was an easy decision then. LOL. What projects are you planning through?

Thanks for the response. I’ve got a 72 c10 and going to do the same thing, bringing her down closer to earth :) funny how time flies. I see I sent this 4 months ago. That’s a dad with a 2 year old and a project truck 😂 but I do have another question. Do you think it’s needed to C-notch it for a five inch spring? I see a lot of discussion around this and a lot of people seem to start c notching at 6 inch and beyond. Curious to get your thoughts having done a 5 in. Current plan is to throw a 5 in spring in the back and a 2.5 in spindle up front, maybe with a 1 in drop spring. Thinking a 3.5/5 may be a good start and see how it settles. By the way, yeah that powder coating all looks really great!
