I built this same car but with a 350 fulie with 350HP and a 5 spd manual. Side pipes, leather, high performance suspension. Air cond, power everything. I daily drive it. Love it. Resto mods are the way to go you can actually drive them and they perform better.

What was the original color? All information I've seen is that GM didn't offer black on any Corvette from 1970 through 1977.. I'd love to paint my 70 454 4-speed black but I really want to stay within the optional colors for it. Thanks, car is beautiful!

WeBe Autos Would I be diminishing the value of my 70 by painting it black? It was originally Donneybrook Green with saddle interior. Unfortunately it does not have build sheet or docs, the engine and trans have been replaced with 1969 427 with a 67 M21.

Paint it Black, this Car almost Sold instantly.....Green is Very Difficult to sell in the States and it's not a numbers matching etc anyway

5 speed Tremec is not original. A Muncie 4 speed came in that car.

LT1HILLINGHOE not really I had a 4 speed in my 72 and put a 5 speed in it. Better cruising rpm. Better milage, better top speed.
