Gorgeous! Love the color, The C-3 is what made me fall in love with the Corvette back in grade school, I have a Quasar Blue Metallic 93 C-4 and love it to death, would love to have an early 70s C-3 as well if i can ever afford it.

The key-in or driver door ajar alarm is standard in every car starting around 1971. By 1973, the 'alarm' was also used in 'Fasten Belts' alert lights as the car shifts into drive and later in 1977 when the car starts up for a period of 5 seconds as well as the headlights left on after car is shut off in some cars (became standard during the early-1980s).

73's are confused. LOL Am I a rubber car or chrome car? Ha Ha Ha Last "real" chrome bumper car was 1972..
@neatcool47705 жыл бұрын
@@dennisjoseph629 I like how the rubber bumper comes out and curves down more, making it look sleeker. I'm looking at the lines, you just like chrome. The chrome front stops right after the lights, the rubber front goes several inches past the lights. The 73 is the best, that's why I'm here and not watching a 69 video. Even the designer said he liked the 73 best.

I have great passion for this motor, but I would like to know how big is the difference between engines? Is a full option 350 just as nice to drive as a 454? Or does that depend on on other things with the c3 vettes?

gorgeous blue insane 454 great sound

Id like to see someone take that stock 454 up to 7,000 rpm a few dozen times..... especially it being a 73 and LS4.

Don't forget to add zinc with every oil change; flat tappet cams must have it and the oil companies don't add it to oil anymore... unless of course you want the lobes on your cam to disappear... jus' sayn...

Boredout454 you are dead on dude! Tony's blowing some smoke up everyone's ass with that power crap. No way in Hell this thing has anywhere near the power of 70-71 454's.. Remember he's trying to sell a car that's probably only worth 60-70% of what he's asking..

you just have to take off the smog equipment to bring that engine to life....it's a wonderful vehicle regardless. the glass is half full not half empty

70 has way more power than 71. Remember 71 was the year Ed Cole ordered all compression ratios be lowered in preparation for the unleaded fuel which would be required with catalytic converters.

275 hp in this vs 365 in the '71 LS5. '71 LS6 had 425.

@@reitoei2929 Net vs gross. Very close in reality. An LS6 would be great if more than a handful existed. 188 were made. Now they are extremely rare and expensive. If I wanted an LS6, I'd clone one.

I feel stupid that I never knew the '73-'74 Corvettes had a T-top, a friend used to have a Camaro with a T-top, really considering getting one and ship it to Europe, of course with the 454ci
