Looks like this 72 Coronet has the easy order package, AC, Power steering, tinted glass, am radio with rear speaker, remote driver side view mirror, day night inside mirror, light package and vinyl roof.

We used to assemble all 4 doors for the Coronet complete with glass, door locks and keys painted in primer for delivery to cab companies to replace ones that were wrecked.

The cab companies in my town used Coronets like this one, with the slant 6. I thought the /6, with those solid lifters, was a very noisy engine inside those cabs.

Wow, that is a really nice car and it looks like all the panels still line up nicely. The driver's inner wheel well looks good and I've fixed worst looking front ends so it may fix up nicely and be a nice driver.

What a neat trick for that trunk lock. I bet a lot of people including myself didn't realize you could take the guts out and use any key. If you don't care about locking it that's a good idea

Great intro and interesting trunk reveal and go through. I know you are just going to have the Dodge be a parts car, but I was just talking to my brother in law a week ago about how to get a title for a car that doesn't have one at least in Nevada so I don't know if it would work in North Carolina. He said that he got a title for the car, by giving it to a tow yard for about a month. There is a law that if they have the car for a certain amount of time they can get a mechanics lein title for the car. It might be an option to look into if not for this car, but maybe for a future purchase.

The system in Britain & Ireland is a little different that car can be legal be put back on the road. The title or as we call it “Logbook” can be easily applied for wether the vehicle has been written off or not. There’s a way around everything.

I wouldn't part that car out, you could just swich the parts you want and put that car back up for sale. In some states, no title is not much of a hinderence. Some states dont require a title for a car over 15 years old. And people in the rust belt still would really appreciate that car.
@ObsoleteAutomotive
@ObsoleteAutomotive 4 ай бұрын
You still need paperwork even in non title states. And in my state no title means you never get one. So it’s parts only. Plus you’d have to find another car to part out to fix this one.

@@ObsoleteAutomotive I'm guessing the U.S. process is different, but here in Canada I had a no title motorcycle and it really wasn't a big deal to get a new one. Also, unless the frame is damaged, the dents look pretty fixable
@ObsoleteAutomotive

@@QuebecGamer20 My state it is pretty much impossible to get a title if you don’t have one. Other states are different but I need a lot of parts off this car for my others. So it worked out.
