The rpm seemed to be jumping around. That's how it interprets torq. If it's not picking up a good signal on rpm it won't be steady.

Correct. 100%. We had to pull back the insulation on one coil set plug and clip onto the exact wire. The pickup magnet was broken so it would not detect a good signal until we did that.

Yes, I put in lowering springs by 2 inches.

The only things I did was swap out the 517 heads for 799s, put in a high lift cam and changed the intake to an LSXR with a 102mm TB.
