Great vid guys. That blokes about my age. I can relate to going to the drags or touring cars and seeing Falcon GTs and monaros everywhere. Go to the city for a cruise and there were hot 70s cars bumper to bumper. Going to see Mad Max 1 at the drive in was unreal, coupes, monaros xys and xws. All lined up. Blokes painting the road with rubber when the movie finished. Good times. The guys right though, as nice as the coupes were ( I had a couple) the xys were fucking beasts. You felt like you were driving them. 😈 Mine was Jewel green, That dark green xy in the video looks a little different. What is it? Can we find out. Loved hearing that bloke. "A white phase 2 is better than no phase 2". Lol. You young blokes missed out on when the car culture in this country was huge. I wouldnt swap those times for quids.

I love hearing stories from you fella’s that lived through these times, im 51 and growing up at school all we talked about was GT Falcons with me and a couple of mates, I believe this car of Franks would be a Monza green colour, one of my favourites is Jewell green specially with the saddle trim! Thanks for sharing your story on these cars and awesome times mate.

Can you ask Frank if he lived in Hoppers Crossing Victoria when he had that red XW GT and has a son named Johnny ? I grew up as a young fella with Johnny and i'm sure his Father was named Frank. His Father would come down and pick him up From Mossfiel Oval after the Boys Club at the Club House there as young Men and drop a big Smoking Burnout every time in his GT. I wondering if its Frank as the picture he is looking at and telling you about Calder looks like the house they lived in around the corner from where I grew up as a kid. Thank You.
