The early year models of those generation Chevrolet & GMC fullsize pickups like that one are rare nowadays, especially ones that are in great shape & all original like that one there.

Chevrolet & GMC produced those third generation C/K series pickups from 73 through 87 on the 1/2 ton & 3/4 ton regular cabs & from 73 through 89 on the 1 ton regular cabs although production of the fourth generation C/K series regular cab pickups started in 88. The crew cab pickups, Suburbans, Blazers, & Jimmys were produced from 73 through 91.

Very nice! I’d fix the rust. Buff it up an put ceramic coating on it. That would preserve it for a long time.

Dad bought a new 73 Chevy PU 2wd 1/2 ton 350 auto no air for $3500.00 dollars. in one year it rusted out here in Detroit. He traded it in on a new Dodge Van in 1974 and never bought another GM vehicle again. He bought dozens of Chrysler, Ford and Lincolns. GM lost a really good customer. They would not do anything for him when he complained about the rust

@@euroasianbob9268 yeah i love this truck! the one my Dad had was 2 tone white in the center with like a lime green outer color. like a candy apple green. I see them time to time, just beautiful. These are the best looking trucks. before the 73 Dad had a 69 Chevy PU in great condition, my brother took it for his first car the 69 that is. it was maroon with the I6 and 3sp on the tree.
