It is almost unbelievable I started installing parts for good. It was always "temporary" or "to test fit" for the last two years. Hopefully, she will be ready for the road soon.

Elin, thank you for the great effort on helping the LBC community keep their cars on the road! I enjoy your channel very much. And also when you make your appearances on Tush's channel. LOL I'm working on the frame-off restoration of a 69 TR6 and was looking at your installation of the wiper assembly. When did you add the water l tubes to the sprayers? I saw how you installed the sprayers and wiper arm mechs, but at what stage did you add the tubes? I'm confused as to how it enters the cavity from the motor compartment through the front wing and into the firewall cavity. There are two holes, one for the electrical wire for the pump, and another for the water supply. Thank you again! Robert in Tampa, FL

Thanks very kindly Mr Elin. I rekon I learned a bunch from this. I might have extra Wiper boxes in my load of junk. You can have them.

Great video and enjoyable series.... The mechanical is relatively simple, the body is not.. I'm curious to see if any further corrosion protection is going to be implemented in the doors and so on. Rust back then was the order of the day and a constant battle as a young owner of a MkII GT6.

There's a little clip that screws into the body tub to hold that clutch line down...it's like a half moon clip..

good stuff, I love seeing real progress and stuff being done properly, also, why not bed line under the dash at the top ( where you spray painted ), wouldnt that help with some heat and noise insulation?
@RustyBeauties6 жыл бұрын
I don't think the bedliner is a good insulation. I will have a sound deadening material on the floor and bulkhead, but with an open car I don't think it is a big deal

Looks like you are missing one short tube at the far end wheel box...although, it's probably not required anyway.
@RustyBeauties6 жыл бұрын
You are right and it makes sense, but it is too late now. I don't have that tube anyway, but it makes sense

Elin, you should give El Hollin's website a look: bullfire.net/TR6/TR6%20TOC.html He is executing a very high quality rebuild of a TR6, and has highly detailed photos in his build log.

Oh, that is a beautiful source of information. Good for him for spending all this time to put this together. Thanks for sharing it!
