Great achievement! I have a stock 1200 bug daily driver but I also got a scoobie ej16 with only 70k on it from a scrapyard closing down ten years ago but it has no alternator or wiring, it has the original injectors and manifold but no exhaust or clutch so I have chickened out going any further with it😢

Ej 16 is a 1600cc impreza engine from 90 or 91 no turbo made 90 to 100 bhp I believe.

Have you thought about making thr door windows of the van power? after all you have the entire wire harness from the Subaru car, also you could use the rest of the wires to change some from the van that don*t look so healthy after all it is a 1973.

Love following you guys! Quick question - how do you go about replacing/servicing the battery once the radiators are installed? Does the radiator on the right side need to be removed?

I am going to be doing a belly mounted radiator so this won’t be a problem for me. Not sure what people with in bay radiators do for the battery situation
