1973 VW Super Beetle Convertible Carpet Install

Watch Daren working on the 1973 VW Super Beetle Convertible. It's carpet installation time. You'll see it happen, start to finish. (Caveat: He's got it all pre-cut... which takes some doing and is super-boring to watch.) Also, it's at 6x speed. Your installation will take a bit longer!
We've had requests for narration on these videos, and are planning to start that as soon as we get a good mic. Hey Mike - that's jute padding. You can find it on Amazon or at an upholstery supply store.

Yup... a prior shop coated the surface with POR15. Not how we do it, but at least they tried to protect against rust.

Hi what spray do you recommend ? Where did you get the carpet installation sound material you payed down before the carpet . I got a 73 super

3M 90 spray. The sound deadened is called Kill Mat - it’s on Amazon. Good stuff. What are you doing to your Super?
