Leeds reached the final overcoming Zürich , Újpesti Dózsa, Anderlecht and Barcelona, losing the final to Bayern Munich. That team was coached by Jimmy Armfield. Allan Clarke and Peter Lorimer were the team topscorers, with 4 goals.
