Always liked these cars. On a side note, one of the drivers at my local dirt track runs one of these. He finished 2nd in the overall Saturday night standings for the Pure Stock Division in 2022.

Had a gold 74 with a 350/4bbl. Solid, reliable and all-round excellent vehicle. 1990, sold it to a garage who stripped it to run stockers at the races - that's where they all went.

I bought one new 1974 , was a gutless wonder until I changed cam, manifold, carburetor, headers, exhaust , trans shift kit and rear end gears, much better then. 💯🆒

Nice vehicle. Front grille looks similar to the 1977 Buick Regal grille.

My Gf in High School had a 75 Malibu in the mid 80's and it was nowhere near this nice. That's a REALLY nice car. I would just clean up the engine bay, put all new gaskets on the engine, repaint the motor, sandblast the Rad support, Air Cleaner, Master cyler and repaint them black with some gloss black engine paint and then clean up the brake booster and repaint it silver and then I'd just drive it, that wouldn't change it from being a "Survivor" because with all that your just replacing and reconditioning wear out parts.
