Brings back a lot of memories... I used to play this game for hours.

I love vintage games like this with a real simple clear-cut goal. Gottleib's _Pop A Card_ is another good example.

As a 70's kid, I've played that pinball game once. I was able to light up all the 15 balls in the game. My dad showed me the number 100,000 when it lit up. I must've been better at it than what I've expected!

I was just playing this table on PS4 the detail amazing. They even have the electrical hum when holding the flipper. Obviously not the same but this video makes appreciate the table much more.

You’ve got mad skills. I enjoyed watching you play. I play it occasionally on Far Sights Pinball Arcade. I know it’s not precisely the same, but the digital version seems to drain far too easily.

Big/Hot Shot is one of the pioneers of modern day pinball. All you really need is two flippers on the bottom and a single objective.

I remember it. Great game. Doesn't anyone give the thing a little shake now and then?
@jimdep6542 Жыл бұрын
Wow.......Ball 4 was killer. You just needed that one drop target on the left side and just missed it a few times. 2x the ball came back up from the bottom drain.

I love the bell sounds on this table, most bells are more metallic and not as mellow. Also it kinda sounds like Darude's Sandstorm.

I didn't think about it until you mentioned it, but I don't think it's stock. I received the game that way and didn't realize it wasn't original.

Have this game. Tried everything to get the end of ball bonus to score correctly. Always seems to short me 1-3 balls. It's a disconnect between the main score motor and end of ball bonus motor (underside rear right). Checked if the lever was skipping gear teeth, it would be easier to sell it than rifle through a hundred switch stacks to see where the issue is. Fun game though.
@londonpinball Жыл бұрын
The bonus value for this machine counts down through score motor switch 1A. If it's gapped too far apart or too closely, it'll skip points.
@fixeverything4u Жыл бұрын
@@londonpinball Thanks for the tip. I'll check 1A again. I see your machine has the same underpowered flipper coils as well!

Is there a setting that allows the drop down targets to carry over from ball to ball instead of resetting?
@londonpinball9 ай бұрын
No. They may carry over on Pro Pool (the single player version), but multiplayer electromechanical games always reset all features between balls and players because they have no electronic memory. The solid state version of this game (with some changes) is Pinball Pool and it *might* have a carry over feature but I don't remember.

Yea old pinball games sound so annoying. Must have sucked for bartenders back in the day. Freekn headache. But the games are super fun and challenging.
@davideisemann71305 жыл бұрын
@@Lightblue2222 with all due respect them chimes were and still are music from the good ol games of the 60s &70s I understand that there's a lot of young bucks out there that like games like Adams family, funhouse,etc. But it's a matter of preference. I'm not into fast games with a CD.rom and balls flying so fast that ya don't even know what the hell your shooting for. No offense to the new generation but I'm an E.M guy in any case pinball rules !!
@davidlineweaver72353 жыл бұрын
@@Lightblue2222 Could be worse. A few years ago a bar I went to went even more retro and had a Target Pool from 1969. The bartenders REALLY loved it when I was able to get some of the arrow targets lit and hit several of them in succession for 300 points and a satisfying "CLANG-CLANG-CLANG" from a five-inch bell in the backbox for each hit.
