Comes with large history file along with a box of Norman Wisdom memorabilia including signed photos, autographs, his cap, along with much more. Also photos of him in the car in period and well as more recently at the Terenure show when he was reunited with the car when he was over as guest of honour. Also copy build sheets, old MOTs and NCTs and hand written log of work carried out.
Correspondence on file from Sir Norman shows his request for an upgrades to be fitted to the car including headlamp wipers, front spoiler, and badges on that the D posts to Series 11 spec along with cruise control.
Car has had ongoing service and repairs as detailed in the history. Aircon has been upgraded with R134a fittings. Most recently there is receipt for €1500.for ceramic coating to the paint. There is also an expensively modified period radio that now receives FM. All the usual Rolls fixtures and fittings including lambs wool over mats and rear foot rests.
All in all a fabulous example with striking colour scheme and interesting history

Hate to say this but there is no such car as a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 1, it's a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow - period. The subsequent car is the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 11 as this car was not envisaged or thought of commercially until around 19176 or so. Still, even with the air scoop under the front bumper bar, it IS still a beautiful car (but it's better without it, though). MANY thanks for sharing, all the very best and take care.

This must be the rolls that normans son sold without even telling norman he confronted his son about this in a documentary about norman his son was so embarrsed about this he also sold normans motorbike also without normans permission how bad is that its sheer greed

wow l dint known that about his son . l saw a documentary about his hole sir norman wisdom life a couple weeks ago on bbc four but there only said a bit about his cars collection though and showed his private yacht. but said towards the end of his life in his 90s he got dementia was a funny man and only done limited acting roles
