Ron Geesin is a living legend. Spme only know him for his work witj Pink floyd, but his music has been used in so many things via KPM et al. He scored all the episodes of a maths program for kids in the 80s, which is on KZbin.

I didn't know Bruce Lacey's name until just now: but recognize him from the fantastic documentary (that I bet you've seen on KZbin) In Search of the Great English Eccentric, hosted by Dave Allen!

@@griersson He's one of those names that keeps cropping up: collaborations with The Goons, for example. I mainly know of him through having had his son, John Lacey (erstwhile collaborator with Coum Transmissions, Throbbing Gristle and Chris and Cosey) as my dissertation tutor at university

Bruce Lacey? He was Throbbing Gristle's caretaker, collaborated with everyone from Fairport Convention to Ken Russell via Michael Bentine and the Albert's, while also appearing in The Beatles film Help. Went on to become a major figure on the UK free festival scene while also being an advocate for encouraging creativity in children through his family friendly installations and theatrical performances. Basically a top dude.

This has got to be one of the funniest things that I’ve watched. Ron Geesin was all right (but simply because I’m a huge fan of Pink Floyd). But the criminal on day release and the hippy that did the sound effects ? What a couple of losers ! Especially the geometric sweater. Oh my God ! 😂😂😂😂

The “criminal on day release” is Bob Godfrey who made the classic ‘70s “Rhubarb” cartoons amongst many others during his 40 year career as a world renowned animator and the “hippy” is Bruce Lacey, a highly regarded ‘60s conceptual artist , film-maker and sculptor - hardly a couple of losers. As a side note, I doubt whatever you’re wearing right now will be considered quite as cutting edge as you imagine in fifty years time…

Ignoring the fact you meant alright not all right, the criminal on day release asks how many beloved and fondly remembered animated TV shows have you created? The hippy asks how many times have you collaborated with The Goons, The Beatles, Throbbing Gristle, Ken Russell, Richard Lester and Hawkwind among many others? How many times have you won the Alternative Miss World competition, appeared on everything from serious art documentaries to kids tv, produced theatrical productions and also found time to raise 9 children. And yet he's the loser rather than you. Apparently.
