Demonstrating your wonderful metal working skills so well and then sharing them as you do, to all young apprentices across the world is truly a gift beyond value. Be very proud of what you are doing, stay well and prosper.

What I love is that you show how the sausage is being made, even where you aren’t 100 percent perfect. Makes us rank amateurs want to keep learning!

Nice work. I thought all those doors were too far gone. You truly saved them. Would TIG help you get the seamless welds you are trying to achieve? Great videos. Thank you for sharing them.

Hi Elin, greetings from England still in lockdown! I have just watched up to episode 38 and have really enjoyed your videos. You put your self down too much! You have a great selection of tools, but you should buy a 10 or 15mm belt sander, an absolute must for getting into those awkward places to grind welds. Do not worry about using a little body filler, for all those restorers out there that have the total down attitude on body filler - check out some of Chip Foose's cars. These are quite possibly the best finished projects in the world and are completely skimmed all over in body filler. Yes, Jade Muttley is very good, but if you get time, check out Trevor Hatton's work, his channel is Trev's Blog. Keep up the good work mate.

Great job my friend....I have the two doors on my GT6 that have similar damage....even though I have two new doors that I will be using, I want to try and fix the old ones after watching you do it....practice makes perfect right? Keep up the good work...makes me want to find a TR4 or 6 for my next project.!!!

In 60 years' time somebody fixes this door again and finds your little sketch, he will be really mystified by that. In 60 years' time, this car will still be only 106 years old, just "yesterday" in the life of Stonehenge. In 60 years, I will be 130 year's old (bit smelly by then, but still) and the age difference between you and me will seem like a rounding error. 60 years ago, I fancied the girl sitting next to me in primary school, Christine, still feels like "yesterday". I can have whatsoever dozens of grandchildren that God ever gives me, and still I ask Him "what stopped it being me and Christine?" Apparently, this was none of my business. ;-)) Ben

Good grief you are such a stickler for detail ! Me I would just ignore the slight gap differences and just drink an extra beer or two until they looked straight :) .

Same. "It's not perfect, it's ugly, but it's mine" is my new mantra.

Oh dear Elin. You said those fateful words: "And now the welding is done..." Weren't there hinges on the doors you cut about to repair the Passenger door? Or Driver's door to us who drive in the correct side of the road...... As always mate a lovely job you make look so simple when it isn't.

One thing I don´t like is that the step is on the wrong side, the water from the Window can run between the metal and its rust again. I think the only fix it´s to use glue between the metal.Okay I don´t wait to the end of video and wright it before he give his answer of this.
