The resonator- the thing you call a "bucket"- can also make a difference. I think woodblocks would sound nice on some of the early solid-state machines which have chimes in them. Building the carrier for them would be a good project.

Didn't know Williams made a multiball game back then. Bally's 1956 "Balls A Poppin'" was the first flipper game with multiball, and also the first with automatic ball lift. It was the first flipper machine they made after a four-year hiatus where they only made bingo machines. It was also the most sophisticated pinball machine made up to that point, and would be for many years after; it featured variable multiball up to nine balls and used the same tabular scoring system used in their bingo machines.

Nice job I hate the sound of Williams chimes This sounds better I think the key to Gottlieb chimes is the resonator box. Some day I would like to create one out of wood and replace that plastic tub with it

I got a Question. What Aluminium did you use ? Is it a Special Kind ? I am From Germany and have several Chine Units that could use New Chime Bars.

Just stuff they sold in local hardware stores. I just brought a piece in and matched it up.
